We are looking for an addition to our team of software developers who design, implement, and support the platform for the Calibre Resolution Enhancement Technology (RET) tools running on highly scalable distributed platforms. This position reports to the Calibre Semi Platform R&D Manager.
Develop novel solutions to complex problems
Present detailed technical proposals to and lead discussions with peers and management
Implement high quality production ready software in C++ Perform detailed, quantitative analysis of performance and quality of the software
Improve the performance of highly scalable software platform
Research existing work in the field and applicable fields
Document new software in functional specifications
Create regression tests and regularly monitor the software performance and quality
Quickly fix bugs in production software
Prepare marketing materials for customer presentations
BSEE, MSEE/ MS or Ph.D. Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
5+ years software development experience in C++ Work comfortably in Linux and with Microsoft Office programs Word, Power Point, and Outlook
Comfortably navigate large software source base and come up with novel solutions
Work comfortably with highly scalable distributed systems
Nice to have experience.
Working in the semiconductor industry, specifically with lithography and optical proximity correction software
Compile information into clear documents or slides and present to peers, management, and customers
This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

The salary range for this position is $101,200 to $182,200 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
